Congress Oks the huge bail out plan and now we can stop worrying about how to spend our money. It's going to Uncle Sam, phew! what a relief.

Obama's Plan Overwhelmingly Supported By Economists

This is interesting:
"A survey of academic economists by The Economist magazine finds the majority—at times by overwhelming margins—believe Mr Obama has the superior economic plan, a firmer grasp of economics and will appoint better economic advisers."

I guess McCain is still playing catch up with the economic turmoil and how we got here.

John McCain is no maverick

Biden

That's right, those were the words of Joe Biden in the debate. Well, he said he's not a maverick as far as the important issues are concerned and pointed that his views were very much inline with George Bush's policies.

Tonight's debate

The vice presidential hopefuls will get to fight it out in the debate tonight hosted at Washington University in St Louis.

Palin happens to be a good debater, as does Biden. However, there could be patronizing and sexist moments in the debate. After 12 debates with Hillary Clinton in the democratic nomination process, Biden could come across as a bit condescending (let's hope not) when debating with Palin and that could be a good thing for Palin. So, despite Joe Biden's experience and Sarah Palin's lack of, it could go either ways. Tells you about the sorry state of affairs we are in right now.

It's official, Sarah Palin lied

It's official then. She lies through her nose (ok, it's a pretty one, so what?). Look at this clip from CNN where they discuss her lies. Too bad for someone who claims to follow the holy bible by the book.

McCain should be careful when he mentions earmarks with Obama in the next time. Read more on my post Will the republicans please stop lying

Apple finally drops NDA, iPhone developers rejoice

Apple, fearing competition from Google's Android project finally makes a positive move for the iPhone developer community. Way to go Google (oops, Apple!)

The nondisclosure agreement attached to Apple's iPhone SDK has finally been lifted. Now developers can freely discuss non beta versions of the SDK, which will surely result in an explosion of publicly available hints, tips and programming discussion.

Metallica up against the internet once again

Just when we thought the feud had ended, Metallica again has it's bag of complains filed against the internet (in a fictional world so far). Turns out that the recording of Death Magnetic has a lot of distortion because of a compression technique used and the band is blaming everything from the internet to ipod.

Palin brings in the big guy (Katie Couric interview #3)

Looks like Katie Couric was too much for Sarah Palin to handle on her own. She gave today's interview with papa McCain sitting right by her side, ironically, to talk about how prepared she was for the VP, and god willing, the presidential seat. You could see McCain shift uncomfortably in his chair as Palin dictates a well practiced answer on weather she is ready to be President. Occasionally he jumped in to "protect" the damsel in distress. To her credit, there were no major goof ups this time, what with the watchful eye of McCain. Here's the clip.

Zardari finds Palin gorgeous

Pakistan's newly sworn in president, Asif Ali Zardari was a little less than a gentle man when he met with Palin last week. His actions have created an outrage among people though out the world including Pakistan. President of a conservative Islam country should have thought a little about his actions. Surely, he was aware of the cameras? Strangely enough, this is not the first time such an incidence has occured.
